DESCRIPTION
The Yahnis Company, one of the largest family-owned wholesale beverage distributors in South Carolina, is seeking full-time Delivery Support Drivers to supplement the route drivers, and gain industry experience for future opportunities. Our team-oriented drivers thrive on physical work, delivering the best local, regional and global products from Molson/Miller/Coors, Pabst Brewing Co., Yuengling and Heineken and more.
Operating out of the Conway, SC warehouse, the delivery support driver works to enhance the sales and service of our products through accurate delivery, effective merchandising, product rotation and a high level of customer service.
Schedule:
4-Day Work Week
No overnight routes
Early morning start times
Responsibilities include:
Safe operation of tractor trailer, maintaining proper licensing and medical certification
Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
Follow route assignments and procedures
Effectively review and finalize customer transactions at time of delivery using handheld smartphone
Properly stage, rotate and merchandise product in accordance with customer expectations
Maintain positive professional relationships with customers
Physical and Environmental Demands:
Ability to handle heavy products safely in all weather conditions
Frequently walk, stand, lift and reach
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
