Dispatcher I

This position assigns motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance of building materials by performing the following job duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compiles list of available vehicles
Assign vehicles according to factors such as length and purpose of trip, freight or passenger requirements, and preference of user
Assign orders to lift operators to be pulled from inventory
Issue keys, record sheets, and credentials to drivers
Record time of departure, destination, cargo, and expected time of return
Investigate overdue vehicles
Direct activities of drivers by two way radio
Confer with customers to expedite or locate missing, mis-routed, delayed, or damaged merchandise
Maintain record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses
Establish service or delivery routes
Assign helpers to drivers
High School diploma or GED required
6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training required OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Starting pay for this position is $15-$16 per hour.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
